RATES
 We have 3 different rate structures

1.

International Guests

  • Rates are quoted on a per person per night basis
  • Minimum number of guests charged for is 2 (two);
  • Minimum stay is 2 (two) nights;
  • Rates include the exclusive-use of The Termite Mound Guest House on a self-catering basis, including housekeeping services and the Tourism Bed Levy.
  • Not included in the rate is laundry, medical evacuation cover, travel and health insurance and staff gratuities.

2.

SADC Guests – proof of residence or citizenship of a SADC country is required

    • Rates are quoted on a per person per night basis
    • Minimum number of guests charged for is 2 (two);
    • Minimum stay is 2 (two) nights;
    • Rates include the exclusive-use of The Termite Mound Guest House on a self-catering basis, including housekeeping services
    • Not included in the rate is Tourism Bed Levy @ P10 per person per night, laundry, medical evacuation cover, travel and health insurance and staff gratuities

3.

  1. Botswana Residents – proof of residence (Omang or residence permit) is required
  • Botswana Resident must be one of the guests joining the group otherwise SADC or International rates will apply
  • Rates are quoted on a per night basis.
  • Minimum stay is 2 (two) nights
  • Rates include the exclusive-use of The Termite Mound Guest House on a self-catering basis, including housekeeping services.
  • Not included in the rate is Tourism Bed Levy @ P10 per person per night, laundry, medical evacuation cover, travel and health insurance and staff gratuities.

While every effort will be made to secure bookings dates at resident rates, any booking made more than 3 weeks prior to arrival date is not confirmed.

BOOKING PROCEDURE

  • All reservations must be received in writing by email or WhatsApp.
  • Bookings will only be held provisionally for 14 days from the date of reservation unless the reservations office has been contacted in writing to extend the booking.
  • After 14 days the provisional booking will be automatically cancelled.
  • Failure to pay the deposit within the 14 days will result in automatic cancellation of the

DEPOSITS

  • Bookings are confirmed on receipt of a 50% deposit into our bank account and a completed booking form.
  • By confirming your booking with a deposit, you are accepting that you have read, understood and accepted our Standard Terms and

PAYMENT POLICY

  • A booking is regarded as confirmed after receipt of the deposit payment and completed booking form within the timelines stipulated in the Booking Procedure.
  • A deposit of 50% of the total booking value is to be paid within 14 days of provisional booking.
  • The balance of the invoice is to be paid 30 days prior to the guest’s arrival – unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Bookings made within 30 days of the booking dates must be settled in full, immediately on receipt of the invoice and booking form.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellations of bookings will be subject to the following cancellation penalties:

  • Cancellation of 30 days or less from arrival date – forfeit 100% of the deposit paid.
  • Cancellation 30 – 60 days from arrival – forfeit 50% of the deposit paid.
  • Cancellation more than 60 days from arrival – forfeit 20% of the deposit paid.
  • Final payment is to reach our bank account at least 30 days before guest arrival dates.

INSURANCE POLICY

  • Please ensure you have adequate travel insurance in line with our cancellation policy. You become liable for cancellation penalties immediately on confirmation of your booking.
